Our Approach
Professional Orthopedic Physical Therapy Services and Continuity of Care
In our office you'll receive physical therapy services from a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a credential held by only 7% of all physical therapists in the US. Once you are evaluated by your physical therapist and you begin treatment in our office, you will be seen by your Physical Therapist each and every time you come in for care. No more having to explain to "your therapist of today", what your last therapist was doing with you last week. No more spending most of your time during your physical therapy appointments exercising on your own as is the case in many other PT offices/clinics. In our office you'll get individualized attention, one on one patient care to help you achieve your goals. That's been our treatment philosophy in our office since 1986.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a typical physical therapy appointment?
Your typical initial evaluation and follow-up appointments thereafter will take approximately 45-60 minutes.
What happens during the first physical therapy appointment?
Your first physical therapy consultation you will discuss your medical history and goals, undergo a physical movement assessment, and receive a personalized treatment plan accordingly.
Can physical therapy help with sciatica/back pain, joint pain, frequent migraines, etc.?
Yes. Physical therapy is a highly effective, first-line treatment for sciatica, back pain, and joint issues. While not a direct "cure" for the root neurological causes of frequent migraines, physical therapy can significantly reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks by alleviating neck tension, poor posture, and trigger points.
Do I need a doctor's referral for physical therapy?
You generally do not need a doctor's referral to visit a physical therapist, thanks to "direct access" laws available across all U.S. states. However, the rules for your treatment coverage and timelines depend heavily on your specific location and health insurance plan.
Can I use insurance for physical therapy appointments?
Yes, you can absolutely use insurance for physical therapy. Most major health plans, including Medicare and private insurance, cover these services as long as they are deemed medically necessary to treat an injury, chronic condition, or to rehabilitate after surgery.
Can I go to a physical therapist for orthopedic issues?
While all physical therapists are trained on how to treat common orthopedic issues, Kinetic Physical Therapy in Naples has board-certified orthopedic clinical specialists (a certification only held by less than 8% of physical therapists in the nation) who have a higher level of expertise in the treatment of orthopedic problems.
