Meet The Kinetic Physical Therapy Staff

Artificial Joint Replacements — Charles E. Moseley in Naples, FL

Angelo A. Stefanides, PT OCS ~ FL State License #35854

After performing a nation-wide search, Mark Johnson, PT hand picked Angelo Stefanides, PT OCS to be is successor at Naples Physical Therapy, and while our practice name has changed to Kinetic Physical Therapy, Angelo is committed and honored to carry on the tradition of clinical excellence established by Mark and Naples Physical Therapy nearly 40 years ago in 1986.  Angelo joined the Naples Physical Therapy team in the fall of 2020 and officially assumed leadership of the practice now named Kinetic Physical Therapy in August of 2021 . While new to the Naples area, he is not new to the profession of physical therapy, as he brings extensive knowledge and over thirty years of experience to our practice. Angelo’s knowledge and expertise has been recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as he is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. As of 2022 this credential is held by only 7% of all current physical therapists practicing in the US.

Angelo has an extensive educational background in physical therapy and science and has earned multiple degrees including a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey, a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine from Long Island University in New York and a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Mercy College in New York. He has continued his pursuit of knowledge throughout his career through his professional continuing education, all of which has been focused in the field of orthopedic and manual physical therapy.

Prior to joining Kinetic Physical Therapy, Angelo was practicing in New Jersey. He spent twenty years practicing in a hospital system, the last ten of which were spent in a leadership role, where he was fortunate enough to lead a team of over thirty-five fellow professionals providing services to patients in three different locations.  In 2009 Angelo opened his own practice in New Jersey and he continued to treat patients there for eleven years until he closed the practice in October of 2020 to join the team at Naples Physical Therapy.

Angelo says he "chose Naples Physical Therapy because of the quality services, treatment philosophy, the passion demonstrated to our profession, and the commitment to provide patients with a quality of service that both improves their lives and honors the responsibility of our profession to the people we serve.” Angelo’s treatment philosophy is similar to that which has existed Naples Physical Therapy since 1986. He is focused on providing high quality hands-on care and manual therapy techniques coupled with scientifically supported therapeutic exercise, cutting edge techniques and modalities and patient education to help patients achieve the best outcomes possible.

Work-Related Injuries — Amy L. Justice in Naples, FL

Amy L. Justice, PTA ~ FL State License #28038

Amy joined Naples Physical Therapy in 2017 after working with orthopedic, neurology and pediatric patients since 1993. Amy continues to be a valued member of our team at Kinetic Physical Therapy. Amy and her identical twin sister Beth were blessed to be adopted and raised by a mother (nurse) and a father with paraplegia (a WWII veteran). No surprise that an eventual path toward physical therapy became Amy's career (and a nursing career for her sister). It not only was a perfect fit but also why her passion for helping others comes so naturally.

Participating in the middle, high school and college cross country and track teams, Amy also competed in throwing the javelin, an event she loved for its challenge and uniqueness. She also competed in two Boston Marathons in '85 and '86.

Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Springfield College in 1987 with her Health Fitness degree, and received her PTA degree in 1993 at John Tyler Community College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She interned with the Glendale Family YMCA where she launched their first women's weight training program, and Glendale Adventist Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation program, guiding and closely monitoring the cardiac patient through their individual exercise sessions. Later, as an intern at Virginia Commonwealth University's Sports Medicine Center, Amy worked closely with the Richmond Ballet where she gained her clinical manual skill set in restoring ankle-foot mobility.

Out of a strong desire to help the disabled child, her professional career started with the Richmond Cerebral Palsy Center and Richmond Children's Hospital, both settings proving to be a strong foundation in understanding the fundamentals of normal development. Upon pursuing her physical therapy career in Richmond, Virginia, she became part of an exciting like-minded group dedicating 10 years of cycling to benefit MS through the annual MS 150 organized ride, all inspired initially by her young MS patient while working as a PT tech in PA out of college.

Following a very enriched 6 years in pediatrics, Amy and her family moved closer to their parents and settled in Fredericksburg, VA, spending the next 16 years in the outpatient and home care settings.

Amy enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions, with a special interest in post-op recovery, joint disease, and muscle injury. She is certified in TMR treatment for rapidly alleviating pain and restoring synergy to the body.

We are grateful to have Amy as a valued member of our Kinetic Physical Therapy team, she plays an integral role in improving the quality of patients' lives by restoring hope and guiding them to a higher level of health and mobility.
